Businessman Karl Kossmann and anthroposophic physician Dr. med. Heinz-Hartmut Vogel – the sole partners in WALA at the time – founded the profit-making WALA Foundation in Bad Boll/Eckwälden. The Foundation is responsible for WALA Heilmittel GmbH in its entirety and holds 100 % of its shares. Accordingly, all profits of the limited company belong to the Foundation, which invests them primarily in WALA Heilmittel GmbH or distributes part to WALA employees. This is because the primary function of the Foundation is to preserve the WALA idea and to preserve the WALA idea and to promote the continued development of WALA Heilmittel GmbH.
